Proud That Our Girl Is Fighting Back: Chandigarh on Varnika [Quint]
On Friday night, Varnika Kundu was brazenly stalked by two men in a car, later identified as Ashish Kumar and Vikas Barala – the son of BJP Haryana President Subhash Barala.
As the voices in support of Varnika grow stronger and more powerful, a group of women in her city gathered at a coffee shop, close to where Varnika started her journey that night. Watch the FB Live video below, moderated by author Vani, to hear what they had to say about the braveheart who “is one of us”, how safe or unsafe they currently feel, and the role of the police.
Unanimous in the sentiment that everyone “must fight back”, they assert that they will back “you all the way should you choose to fight!”
